Career Development: Taking ChargeDescription:

• An introspective program where participants assess their strengths and weaknesses, identify interests and values, and explore career options.

• This highly interactive program encourages participants to take responsibility for managing their own careers.
Common DecencyDescription:

• Understand the importance of creating and maintaining a workplace where all employees are treated fairly, professionally, and with respect.

• Learn about the behaviors that support a productive, healthy work environment and the proven link between employee satisfaction, customer service and organizational success.

• Participants will view videos scenes depicting various forms of potentially discriminatory, unfair, and/or unprofessional treatment and openly discuss each scenario.

• Relevant laws are shared and discussed to help participants understand the underlying legal framework supporting positive employee relations.

• Program activities include video vignettes, group exercises, quizzes, and facilitated discussions.
Conflict ManagementDescription:

• This one-day program introduces participants to the idea that conflict is a fact of life in organizations, and is something that can be managed vs. feared or ignored.

• Participants look at past conflicts that were resolved satisfactorily or unsatisfactorily and strategize on ways to deal with current and future conflict situations.
Dealing with Difficult BehaviorsDescription:

• This program looks at a variety of Difficult Behaviors encountered in meetings, projects, and one on one interaction and shows how to best respond.

• Insights are provided on “triggering events”, influence and stressful situations.

• Participants who complete this program will be better able to:

Emotional IntelligenceDescription:

• This fast-paced, interactive, multimedia workshop introduces leaders, managers, supervisors and non-managerial employees to the five areas of action and interaction of Emotional Intelligence.

• ‘EQ’ has been proven to be a far more critical factor than ‘IQ’ of our success and satisfaction in all parts of our lives. The five components of Emotional Intelligence are: ~Emotional Self-awareness & Self-control

Enhancing Meeting SkillsDescription:

• This half-day program is designed to help meeting attendees fully participate to get results.

• Participants review mechanics of meetings, receive feedback on their meeting Influence/Communication skills, and practice participating in a variety of information sharing and problem solving meetings.
Facilitator TrainingDescription:

• The art of facilitation has become increasingly more critical for business success, given the changing nature of organizations and the increasing numbers of task forces, projects, and teams.

• This program provides a solid systematic approach to increasing effectiveness of facilitation skills.

• Throughout the program the participants explore and practice a number of facilitation skills and techniques.

• The activities replicate the types of situations that participants will actually face as facilitators on the job.
Influence Without AuthorityDescription:

• So many departments and projects work in a matrix organization where team members have to come together to get results without direct authority.

• Work with peers that you have no direct input over, and yet rely on getting results from them.

• This program will focus on the use and misuse of communication, influence, power and authority.
Internal Consulting SkillsDescription:

• It is critical for people working on projects and in staff functions to have the ability to consult with their internal clients for successful work or project completion.

• This program focuses on the stages for successful consulting projects and the specific steps to take within each stage of the project.

• This program provides an overview of internal consulting and specific skills for each of the stages from building relationships, diagnosing needs, contracting, to implementation solutions.
Interviewing / Selection SkillsDescription:

• The Interviewing/Selection Skills Program will help managers make successful hiring decisions.

• This workshop provides a systematic approach to the employment interview and is designed to eliminate selection decisions based on "gut feelings."

• Participant’s practice developing job relevant selection criteria and conducting structured interviews using behaviorally based questions.
Managing Multiple Priorities SuccessfullyDescription:

• This program provides time management techniques to enable participants to achieve desired results in key working and personal roles.

• A variety of exercises, discussions, and self-assessment instruments are included.
Managing upDescription:

• This high impact-training program takes a strong view of the critical relationship between an employee and their manager and specifically focuses on the employee as the responsible party for making the relationship as strong as possible.

• This is critical these days, as managers spend only an average of 15 to 20% of their time actually managing.

Maximizing Interpersonal RelationshipsDescription:

• Increase relationship strength and the ability to influence positive outcomes in business (and personal) situations.

• The participants receive feedback on their own Style (Driver, Expressive, Amiable, Analytical) from internal customers, staff, peers, support staff, and/or leaders.

• They gain insight on how their style yields potential strengths (to be built upon) and weaknesses (to be turned into strengths) in everyday business dialogue.

• Participants are also taught to identify others' styles and then select appropriate strategies to increase their versatility for responding to others.

• Program activities include simulations, action planning, cases and skill practices relevant to participants’ business situations.
MentoringDescription:

• The basic premise underlying a mentoring program is that, in order for a mentoring relationship to be successful, it must be based on mutual trust and accountability.

• This program lays out the steps to build this trust and provide coaching and feedback.
Note: Two program versions are available, one for Mentors and one for Mentees or combined.

• Mentors and Mentees ideally go through a set of specific selection criteria outlined in the workshop, based on the organizations’ process.
Negotiating and Influencing SkillsDescription:

• This program blends negotiating skills and an influence model with skill practices and feedback.

• Harvard case studies and others developed from actual organization situations illustrate collaborative (`win-win') negotiations.

• Creative solutions, tactics, and strategies for dealing with different styles are emphasized.

• Program activities include cases and skill practices relevant to participants' situations.

• Program content based on "Getting To Yes" philosophy.
Persuasive Presentation SkillsDescription:

• This program improves presentation skills to influence the decisions and actions taken by their organizations.

• All facets of presentations are reviewed with six presentation practices.
Power to InfluenceDescription:

• This highly interactive program provides skills and techniques that can be immediately applied, personally and professionally.

• The program uses various approaches, feedback, use of power and different styles, with a unique influence model with practice sessions designed to build skills for all situations.
Problem Solving ProcessDescription:

• This "hands-on" workshop provides a practical overview of problem solving techniques that work and involves participants with "live" problems. Working in teams, participants learn and practice a six-step model to problem solving and various key tools used for each of the six steps.

• Various brainstorming and assessment techniques to determine viable options and alternative courses of action are used.

• Systematic problem-solving approaches are presented, demonstrated and evaluated. Heavy emphasis on experiential learning makes this a highly interactive, stimulating and exciting workshop.
Professional Skills DevelopmentDescription:

• This interactive program provides the basics in interpersonal communication and individual initiative to increase productivity, professionalism, personal growth, and job satisfaction.

• Participants will learn to manage themselves and their jobs more effectively by enhancing their skills in influence, goal setting, time management, receiving coaching/mentoring, and teamwork.
Sexual Harassment Awareness & PreventionDescription:

• This program provides supervisors and managers with information on how to prevent and resolve sexual harassment complaints in the workplace.

• Supervisors/managers will be sensitive to the identification of sexual harassment and the sexual harassment investigation process, which could reduce legal fees and public embarrassment and improve the work environment.
Stress / Work Life Balance ManagementDescription:

• This program blends content, surveys, role-plays, and group interaction to present a method for assessing stress in daily activities and establishing a personal stress management program, and deal with interpersonal stress.
Team LeadershipDescription:

• Team Leadership focuses on the critical role of the “Team Leader.” Many teams fly or falter because of the skills and knowledge of their leader.

• This program is directed to both project teams and for leaders of their "department team."

• Participants go through simulations, cases and role-plays, actually practicing leadership within a team setting.
Train-The-TrainerDescription:

• This Train-the-Trainer program is designed to present information and build skills needed to train others.

• The focus can include analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training materials.
Versatility Power (also called Communicating for Results)Description:

• Versatility Power™ is a one-day interactive, experiential workshop, designed to act as a follow-up to a ‘social styles’ type, (Driver, Analytic, Expressive, Amiable, MBTI, DiSC) training program or as a standalone.

• The six components of versatility, which are the gateway to success in connecting with people…their way are explored in depth.
