Susan H. Ogle has been a Senior Consultant since 1992 for Gilman Performance Systems (GPS), a Human Resource Development Consulting firm. She is specializing in Management / Professional Training services, change management, and organizational development consulting issues. She has over twenty years of Human Resource Development experience.
Prior to joining GPS, Susan worked in the financial services field for over eight years. Most recently she was a training manager at People’s Bank, Bridgeport, CT, responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Corporate Career Management Program. As senior consultant to the Commercial and Retail Divisions, she helped to define both training and non-training needs and develop appropriate training programs and consulting interventions to address those needs.
Before her work in financial services, Susan was Assistant Director for Career Development and Placement at Yale School of Management and was Managing Partner with Career/Life Alternatives - a career-consulting firm based in New Haven, Connecticut.
Ms. Ogle has designed and facilitated a wide variety of professional development and management/supervisory training programs in areas of team effectiveness, presentation skills, managing change, customer service, performance management, problem solving/decision making, interpersonal communications, professional productivity, and career management.
Susan’s clients benefit from her internal corporate training experience, which enables her to bring an important “internal” perspective to all her programs and projects. Her specific management expertise includes custom designing and delivering management programs to a variety of clients such as Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, CBS Cable, Cadbury Schweppes/Dr. Pepper, Deloitte, Globe-Pequot Press, Herballife, Metlife, NewAlliance Bank, Norwalk Hospital, Novartis Pharmaceutical, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, UBS and others.
Susan has a BA in Sociology/Psychology and an MS in Human Relations and Counseling with certifications in Benchmarks from Center for Creative Leadership, Achieve Global (Learning International, Zenger Miller), Career Systems International Inc., Blessing/White, Forum Corporation, and Wilson Learning.
She was 1991 Regional Director for the Northeast Region of the American Society for Training and Development (7,000 regional members) and formerly was President of the Southern CT Chapter. She is presently a member of the Bay Colony and National ASTD as well as the New England and National Speaker’s Associations.
